When the Same Reaction Keeps Coming Back
Therapy for the patterns that get in the way of what matters to you.

Maybe you recognize yourself here
However it shows up, you might find yourself reacting in ways that don't quite match what you'd actually want.
Many of the people I work with feel like something keeps repeating, without always understanding why — or even when they understand it very well.
— You anticipate a lot — a shift in tone, a slightly longer silence, and you're already guessing what it means.
— You adapt to others a lot, even when it takes you further from what you want or need — and over time, that can become exhausting.
— You withdraw or pull back when things feel like too much, then you may feel isolated in the distance it creates.
— You might question yourself a lot, when what you'd really like is to trust yourself more.
When you'd rather react differently
Maybe you already know where it comes from. You've thought about it, read about it, maybe done some work in therapy already. Or maybe not — you just know it keeps coming back.
Whether you understand where they come from or not, these reactions can keep returning. And even when you understand them well, insight alone doesn't always change what happens in the moment.
That's because these reactions aren't just ideas. They're ways of protecting yourself that took shape early on, in a context where they made complete sense.
What matters isn't tracing every moment that shaped these reactions, but noticing how they continue to show up today.
How we can work together
Individual Therapy
When the same tensions or distance keep returning between you, we slow things down and look at what's happening for each of you and between you. The goal isn't simply better communication, but noticing what happens when connection becomes difficult and finding another way to respond.
Couples Therapy
We start with what matters to you now and what you want for yourself. Together, we explore what seems to get in the way.
What Makes NARM Different
My work is grounded in NARM (the NeuroAffective Relational Model), an approach to developmental trauma that's less interested in reliving the past than in understanding how it continues to shape the present.
More Choice, Not Something to Fix
A reaction that keeps coming back isn't something wrong with you. As it becomes clearer, other ways of reacting, choosing, and being in your
What Matters to You
We don't start from what I think you should change, but from what you actually want for yourself, right now.
What's Alive Right Now
We pay attention to what's showing up in the present — in your thoughts, emotions, body, and in our relationship — rather than looking for the explanation only in your history.
What a Session Looks Like
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out, or a perfectly clear topic. We start with what matters to you that day.
My role isn't to tell you what you should work on, or to analyze you from the outside. I stay curious with you about what's happening, rather than assuming I already know what it means.
I'm not trying to provoke any particular experience. We move at a pace that works for you.
For a long time, I believed healing was something I had to do alone. I thought if I meditated enough, understood enough, or worked hard enough on myself, I'd eventually feel free.
The real turning point came when I started seeing my protective reactions more clearly in relationship with someone else. Instead of withdrawing and staying alone with what was happening, I could gradually recognize it, communicate it, and discover that another way of responding was possible.

Testimonials
A glimpse into how some clients have experienced our work together.
I recently had a NARM session with François Lacharité, and it was incredibly insightful. The approach is gentle yet deep, focusing on present-moment awareness rather than just rehashing the past. I felt heard, safe, and left with a much clearer understanding of my own patterns. Highly recommended for anyone looking for meaningful personal growth.

I had the honour of being a client of François over several sessions. Standing out most for me were his great authenticity, warmth, and empathy. He created a calm and compassionate space where I could explore what was arising in the present moment, and I was surprised by the insights that emerged so naturally through this process. He offered just the right balance of guidance and listening space that I needed.

Exit survival mode: reclaim inner safety through real connection
Relational somatic therapy.
For when willpower alone is no longer enough.
ONLINE SESSIONS
20 minutes · no commitment
Despite all your efforts, something might still be pulling you back into the same automatic reactions.
Anxiety returns, your body stays on high alert, or you feel disconnected from yourself and others.
Together, we explore what is happening in you — in your body, your emotions, and your relationships — to gently untangle the protective patterns keeping your nervous system in survival mode.
You are not broken
Your system is still in protection mode.
Background anxiety, fatigue that never lifts, the feeling of spinning your wheels — these are not flaws. They are survival reflexes. To protect you in the past, your nervous system learned to take refuge in thoughts or in the needs of others.
When these reflexes have run their course, they become your blocks
My approach helps you re-inhabit your body so your system can finally release the pressure — and transform isolation into a real sense of safety in connection.
This work is for you if you realize that willpower alone is no longer enough.
You might recognize yourself here:
Is this for me?
Background anxiety
Feeling frozen
Exhaustion or burnout
Relational difficulties
Feeling disconnected from yourself
Physical tension linked to stress
My practice
I use a relational and somatic approach, inspired by NARM — the NeuroAffective Relational Model — to help your nervous system realize that the danger has passed.
By observing how your body protects itself from connection — here and now — we create the safety needed for your survival responses to gradually soften.
About
Finally feeling at home in connection
For years, I took refuge in my head to avoid the vulnerability of real contact — convinced I could “fix” myself on my own.
The turning point came when I dared to enter real contact. Today, I support people who want to reconnect with their aliveness and finally feel at home within themselves.
